Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Stark County, Illinois. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
