Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in El Paso County, Colorado. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
