Immediate opening: solid plasterer (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Placer County, California. You will work on a busy domestic building site. The role involves clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
