Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Bureau County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,750 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
