Crane rigger — Aroostook County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Aroostook County, Maine. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
