Ceiling and wall plasterer — Fluvanna County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Fluvanna County, Virginia. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On the job you will handle: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
