Power float operator wanted in Beaufort County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Beaufort County, South Carolina. You will be based in a residential housing project. You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
