Core maker — Bleckley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Bleckley County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
