We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Brown County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes You will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration.
