Vacancy available: rebar worker (Kano State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Bunkure, Kano State. The job is on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
