Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Borsari, Yobe State. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On the job you will handle: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Part-time with flexible hours.
