You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
