Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Florence County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
