Offshore rigger — Jerauld County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Jerauld County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
