Tower crane operator — Barbour County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Barbour County, West Virginia. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
