D6/D8 dozer operator — San Diego County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in San Diego County, California. What we are looking for: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
