Turning centre operator • Jefferson County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Jefferson County, Mississippi. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 1+ years on the tools preferred.
