Now hiring: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Jackson County, Florida. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer 1+ years on the tools preferred.
