Painter — Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in Mercer County, Illinois. You will be based on a residential building site. Day to day you will mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job. Ideal candidate: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
