Immediate opening: CNC programmer-operator (Maine)

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Franklin County, Maine. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On the job you will handle: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
