In-process quality controller — Rapides Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Day to day you will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. You should have: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
