Machinist — Androscoggin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Androscoggin County, Maine. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 3+ years on the tools preferred.
