The role involves: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Overtime paid at a premium rate.
