Pressman — Holmes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Holmes County, Ohio. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
