Aluminium TIG welder — Cattaraugus County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
