Formwork carpenter • Jasper County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Jasper County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
