Thermal insulation technician — Bollinger County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Bollinger County, Missouri. You will be based on a construction site. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Working-at-height certificate an advantage The role involves: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
