Framing carpenter wanted in Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Wayne County, Indiana. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours 4+ years on the tools preferred.
