Carpenter — Kent County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Kent County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
