Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Gwynedd, Wales. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
