Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lancaster County, Nebraska. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
