Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Loup County, Nebraska. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
