Blocklayer wanted in Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will be based on a busy housing site. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
