Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Mono County, California. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
