Now hiring: mobile crane operator (Plateau State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jos East, Plateau State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
