Ductable AC technician — Chippewa County

Join our team: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • Presentable and polite with customers on site • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience The role involves commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
