Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coater in St. Clair County, Alabama. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Day to day you will check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
