Fettler wanted in Udung Uko

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Udung Uko, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
