Vacancy available: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Appanoose County, Iowa. The job is at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles The role involves lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
