Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Jefferson County, Oregon. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
