Immediate opening: kitchen porter (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Henderson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a banquet hall. The role involves restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
