Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Umuahia North, Abia State. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Rotating shifts.
