Foundry worker — Pearl River County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Pearl River County, Mississippi. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
