Power float operator — Tangipahoa Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified.
