Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
