Brick mason — Bremer County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Bremer County, Iowa. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
