Scaffolding erector — Saint Johns County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Saint Johns County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Able to read basic scaffold drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
