Vacancy available: construction labourer (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Midlothian, Scotland. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Part-time with flexible hours.
