Brick and block layer — Johnston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Johnston County, North Carolina. The job is on a new-build development. You will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
