Vacancy available: plant operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Full-time, day shift.
